Newcastle ND

Newcastle ND is used for the active immunization of healthy chicks against Newcastle disease. The vaccine may be used for initial or re-vaccination of broilers, pullets and hens.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE Primary vaccination should be carried-out with CEVAC VITAPEST L by eye-drop or spray method, from the first day of age. Booster vaccination is recommended three to four weeks after priming, by eye-drop or spray.

PRECAUTIONS

• Satisfactory protection can be achieved only in healthy birds.
• Always round the number of doses up. (e.g. 20,000 doses for 19,450 birds), do not stretch dosage.
• All the birds in the flock must be vaccinated at the same time.
• Administer the vaccine during the coolest time of the day.
• Dispose of all opened vaccine containers remaining after vaccination, following the prescriptions of national or local regulations.
• Improper storage or handling of the vaccine may result in loss of potency.

Infectious bronchitis Bron 120L

Infectious bronchitis Bron 120L is used for the active immunization of healthy chickens against infectious bronchitis. The vaccine may be used for initial or re-vaccination of broilers, pullets and hens.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE Primary vaccination should be carried-out with CEVAC BRON 120 L by eye-drop or spray method, as from 1 day of age. Booster vaccination is recommended three to four weeks later by spray.

Gumborro IBD

Gumborro IBD is used for the active immunization of healthy chickens against the disease caused by subclinical or very virulent strains of infectious bursal disease virus (Gumboro disease).

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE CEVAC IBD L must be administered by drinking water. Broilers should be vaccinated with CEVAC IBD L from 10 to 18 days of age, depending on the level of maternally derived antibodies.

DESCRIPTION:

Cosumix is a water soluble powder for the treatment of bacterial diseases of the digestive or respiratory system in poultry. Used for all infectious diseases of poultry for example: E-coli, Fowl Cholera, Coryza, Staphyloccus-infections, air-sac diseases, etc.

HOW TO USE:

1-4 weeks: 5 ml x 5 litres of water
5-8 weeks: 7.5 ml x 5 litres of water
Prepare fresh solutions daily
Use in conjunction with Vitamins

Kitasamycin 100

DESCRIPTION:

Kitasamycin is a greyish white, water-soluble powder. Kitasamycin is an antibiotic for the prevention and treatment of respiratory mycoplasmosis (CRD) in poultry.

HOW TO USE This medicine is an antidote against Microplasmosis and must be used on all farms with a multi age farming system. See the medicine program. Use at a strength of 50 grams per 100liter water. Or in smaller amounts use 1 x 5 millilitre tee spoon on 8 litre water. It is very important to give for the first 3 days and again on day 19.

Triple Sulfa Cocsidiosis
- Available in 100g -

HOW TO USE Use against Coccidioses – it is a bacterial disease in the gut, chicks will have blood in the droppings. Use at 5 milliliter on 8 liter water for a 3 day period; stop for 3 days then treat for another 3 days. Stop the treatment 7 days before chickens have to be slaughtered.

Fosbac T Plus
- Available in 160g -

Fosbac plus T Premix is used for bacterial disease prevention, which is a new and revolutionary approach, designed to stop the flow of leaking profits caused by bacterial infections, whilst at the same time improving production parameters. The energizing antibiotic compound, stimulates the appetite, controls bacteria and helps with recuperation during a bacterial challenge.

HOW TO USE 60mg Fosbac Plus T per kg live body weight Dosage Calculation: Live mass at end of treatment (kg) x Dosage (60 mg/kg) Daily feed intake per bird (kg) = XX g Fosbac Plus T / ton of feed Dosage for broilers: Day 18-32 (Grower + Finisher feed, not recommended for Post-Finisher feed), 500-700g/ton of feed (use calculator).

Mentofin

Mentofin is a natural, water-soluble aroma mixture based on ethereal oils. As a drinking water additive, Mentofin has a high stabilization effect. The misting of Mentofin leads to a better atmosphere in the stall. Using Mentofin in both ways improves the animals’ sense of well-being, thus reducing the risk of disease animating an increase in performance.

HOW TO USE:

Mix 25ml with 2 litres water. Mix with 100 litres drinking water. Mentofin is not an antibiotic and should not be given together with any antibiotics.

Virukill
- Available in 1 litres -

This is the newest on the market and is tested by Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute, SABS and Irene experimental station. It seems to be a very good product against viruses and bacteria. Use to disinfect houses prior to placing chicks. Also use as a weekly mist-spray over birds as well as on walls and litter. Use continuously in drinking water to stop bacteria spreading between chicks. Virukill has no irritating effect on chicks, and no corrosive effect on metal. Use as described on bottle.

HOW TO USE 1:100 litre water when applied as surface disinfectant or spray disinfectant. 1:10 000 litres water for in line disinfections.

Vircon S
- Available in 50g -

Virkon S has a unique formulation; no other disinfectant has the same powerful composition. In terms of efficacy Virkon S has been proven highly effective against 65 strains of virus in over 19 viral families, 400 strains of bacteria and over 100 strains of fungi. HOW TO USE Like Virukill, Virkon S is also used as a disinfectant after houses are properly cleaned and before chicks are placed. Use also in drinking water and as a mist-spray. Houses before placing chicks - Use 100 gram on 10 litre water and spray 300 millilitre on 1 square meter from roof to floor. This must be done after house is properly cleaned out with soap and water. Spray over chicks - Close curtains and spray with very fine mist over chicks to be inhaled by them. Solution to be 50 gram on 10 litre water. Drinking water - Wash reservoir and drinkers with a solution of 100 gram per 10-liter water. Then in drinking water at 5 gram per 10 litre water, or bulk at 100 gram per 200-liter water, continuous use. 100 gram = 100 millilitre.

Formalin
- Available in 1 & 2 litres -

Use a 5% solution in footbaths. This is to prevent bacteria and viruses to be carried in or out of houses. Workers have to go trough solution with water-boots every time they go in or out of houses. This solution has to be changed daily. A 5% chlorine or a Virukill solution can also be used.

DSC-1000 Heavy-duty soap
- Avalable in 2 litres -

Use to wash houses before you disinfect with Virkon S. in a hi-pressure washer a solution of 1-liter per 100-liter water is used, i.e. 100 milliliter on 10-liter water. This soap is formulated to work with Virkon S and will not break it down. After been washed with soap solution, rinse thoroughly with water, wait until dried off, and then spray with Virkon S or Virukill.
